The HR Administration Hub is a new team within the People Directorate which will provide a comprehensive support service across the full employee lifecycle, including joiners, movers, leavers and variances to contract, as well as wider employee relations administration. The team will play a critical role in ensuring efficient processing, and a high standard of customer service to officers and staff across Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies.
As the HR Administration Hub Manager, you will develop, lead and manage this function, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of all HR administrative processes serving the wider directorate, while driving continuous improvement across the service. As this is a new team, the successful candidate will need to be innovative, and their vision will be integral in shaping how the team operates.
You will provide leadership to the team, oversee performance and quality, and ensure systems and processes are effective, efficient, and customer-focused. The role also works closely with a range of stakeholders to enhance service delivery and support organisational priorities.
Application Criteria
* Level 5 CIPD or equivalent experience in HR.
* Experience of leading, managing and developing a team within the HR discipline, in particular ensuring quality of service and performance management, and motivation of staff.
* Ability to use own initiative, to monitor, evaluate and improve working practices with a proven ability to positively influence and drive for continuous improvement.
* Demonstrates advanced working knowledge of computerised HR systems and ability to make recommendations for improvements to people systems and processes.
* Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to research, produce and share complex information with a wide range of audiences.
* Ability to work under pressure, effectively managing and taking ownership of conflicting priorities with confidence and resilience.
* Ability to travel throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, including remote locations and flexibility to work outside of normal office hours as requested.

Location
This position is a joint role and will require working across both locations: Norfolk OCC (Wymondham) and Suffolk PHQ (Martlesham).
