Overview
The governors wish to appoint an experienced and innovative teacher with excellent teaching skills. This position will be in KS1.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Is an excellent, innovative classroom practitioner with a positive attitude
* Can provide challenging, high quality and creative learning opportunities for all children
* Has the skills and flexibility to meet the needs of all children in the class
* Has an excellent understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and the importance of play in children’s learning
* Has a secure understanding of the teaching of phonics and early reading
* Can use accurate assessments to secure progress
* Is enthusiastic and highly-motivated
* Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with teaching and support staff
* Has the sense of humour, character and personality to engage with our pupils, staff and community
