Our client, a prestigious multidisciplinary consultancy with a world-class reputation in the built environment, is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Building Services team in the heart of the City of London.
About the Role:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable electrical design solutions across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, transport, and mission-critical facilities. You’ll lead projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver electrical building services designs across all RIBA stages
* Manage and coordinate MEP projects ensuring quality, time, and budget expectations are met
* Conduct site inspections and technical reviews
* Provide mentoring and support to junior team members
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable and energy-efficient solutions
* Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings using industry-standard software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech)
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree-qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
* Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET/CIBSE)
* Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
* Proven experience delivering electrical design solutions within a consultancy environment
* Confident communicator with excellent project and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in Revit, Amtech, Dialux, and other relevant tools
