As a Payroll Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our organisation.
Job Responsibilities:
* Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
* Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
* Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees regarding payroll-related issues.
* Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and analysis as required.
* Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
* Support the implementation of payroll systems and software upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a UK-based environment.
* Familiarity with SAGE payroll software
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
