Our client, a reputable automotive retailer in Darlington, is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop.
This Vehicle Technician position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals eager to develop their careers within a well-known and successful company.
Benefits:
Basic salary of up to £38,000, with an OTE of £48,200, dependent on experience
Working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
One in three Saturdays, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

The Vehicle Technician will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to the highest standards
Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults or wear and tear
Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with DVSA standards
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication
Utilise the latest technology to carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance
Maintain workshop safety and efficiency at all times as a Vehicle TechnicianRequirements:
NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Full UK Driving Licence (necessary for vehicle movement duties)
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
Wide-ranging mechanical repair experience
Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
