Teaching Assistant – Fareham

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Fareham and the surrounding areas. This flexible opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, value a healthy work–life balance, and are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).
* A relevant qualification or classroom-based experience (desirable but not essential).
* A patient, adaptable, and confident approach to supporting learning.
* Ability to assist with behaviour management and classroom routines.
* Confidence supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups.
* A professional, reliable attitude with a strong commitment to safeguarding.
Your Role:
* Supporting the class teacher with lessons and daily classroom activities.
* Providing focused support to individual pupils or small groups.
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
* Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and supportive environment.
* Encouraging pupils’ progress, confidence, and independence.
* Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
