Our client, a renowned refrigeration engineering company renowned for their expertise in large-scale and complex refrigeration systems is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Supervisor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead a team of engineers, oversee projects, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of complex refrigeration systems. As the Industrial Refrigeration Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the smooth execution of maintenance, repair, and commissioning projects. You will be responsible for upholding technical standards, ensuring compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements, and providing technical support for complex faults and repairs on various refrigeration systems. Key Responsibilities: Plan, oversee, and monitor the work of a team of engineers for maintenance, repairs, and commissioning projects Ensure quality control and adherence to technical, safety, and industry standards, including F-Gas and ammonia safety regulations Provide technical support for complex faults and repairs on various refrigeration systems Assist with system commissioning and stay updated with emerging technologies Lead, mentor, and develop engineers, conducting performance reviews and organizing training sessions Interpret technical data and ensure correct commissioning procedures Enforce health & safety requirements, prepare RAMS, and investigate safety incidents Act as the main technical and operational contact for clients, attend site meetings, and identify opportunities for system improvements Who Theyre Looking For: Proven experience as a refrigeration engineer (minimum 5 years) F-Gas Category 1 certification (mandatory) City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent) Experience with ammonia and CO2 plant Previous supervisory or team leader experience Full UK driving licence Alongside a comprehensive benefits package, the company offers a supportive environment where you can thrive and advance your career.
