Role Summary
If you are a results-driven manufacturing engineer with a strong background in process improvements, productivity enhancement, waste reduction, and cost efficiency, then this role is for you. You will collaborate with European sites to support continuous improvement initiatives based on lean principles, providing technical expertise and problem-solving skills to equipment and processes.
You will be an excellent communicator, innovative, and focused on performance improvements to meet future capacity demands. Your collaborative approach will help implement best practices across all areas, including Quality and Health & Safety, to achieve manufacturing excellence.
What you’ll be doing
* Prioritize health and safety compliance and best practices.
* Share best practices across sites.
* Coordinate compliance with ATEX directives.
* Identify opportunities for performance improvements through data analysis and equipment evaluation.
* Oversee development and implementation of process and equipment improvements.
* Collaborate with production teams for seamless ramp-up of new lines.
* Lead and mentor manufacturing engineers, supporting their development.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance KPIs.
* Assist in developing capex requests for engineering projects.
What you’ll need to be successful
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management.
* Significant manufacturing engineering experience with leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proven track record in process improvements and cost reduction.
* Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* Willingness to undertake international travel.
