Your Role
As a Digital Business Analyst Consultant, you will join the Digital Factory community, sharing knowledge and expertise. This role focuses on user‑centred design, critical thinking, problem solving and building digital services and products for clients across public and private sectors.
Responsibilities
* Help clients understand and explore how, where and why to apply new digital technologies and platforms.
* Advise, design and deliver excellent products and services that transform their businesses and deliver real value.
* Play a pivotal role in end‑to‑end user‑centred design projects, working between design, product, development and test.
* Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary Agile Scrum team, responsible for user needs, working closely with business partners, translating problems or requirements into user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
* Be highly customer‑focused and build stakeholder relationships, using analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills to help the Scrum team achieve its goals.
Your Profile – Required Skills
* Experience in user‑centred product or service development projects.
* Experience in multi‑disciplinary Agile Scrum teams, facilitating and supporting end‑to‑end delivery from research and design through to development and testing.
* Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards.
* Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Ability to act as an intermediary between business requirements and user needs, and between waterfall and Agile delivery.
* Proficiency in requirements capturing methodology tools such as JIRA.
* Technical business analysis experience with familiarity of microservices, legacy architectures, APIs and cloud infrastructure.
* Aptitude for building highly collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships, including conflict management and influencing key stakeholders.
* Ability to support and lead scrum activities and ceremonies to ensure delivery of team goals.
* Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills to support effective business analysis.
Desired/Ideal Experience
* Experience across sectors such as Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, Consumer Products and Retail.
* Experience in internal team operations: recruitment, client development, line management, training delivery and mentoring.
* Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, User‑Centred Design, etc.
