Your Responsibilities as an EYFS Teaching Assistant:
* Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
* Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
* Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
* Collaborate with fellow staff members, including specialists and EYFS Teachers.
* Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and creative activity setup.
* Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards.
* Provide assistance with EYFS lesson plans and "Learning Journeys."
* Support children across all Seven Areas of Learning.
* Give extra support to children with special educational needs (SEN).
* Help mark work and record student observations.
* Report student progress to the class teacher.
* Help look after the children during school trips and activities.
* Look after children that are unwell.
* Attend meetings and training sessions.
* Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups.
* A positive attitude and effective communication skills.
Essential requirements:
* TA Qualified (Level 2 or 3).
* Experience working with young people in an EYFS or Nursery setting.
* Class management skills.
* Comfort managing challenging behaviour.
* Able to engage with and motivate children.
* Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
