What You Will Do
* Innovate: Push the boundaries of our coding practices, extending languages and libraries as needed.
* Lead: Spearhead efforts to enhance documentation and coding skills across the organization, encouraging your peers to improve code readability.
* Mentor: Regularly mentor fellow engineers, elevating the quality of code across teams.
* Architect: Gain expertise in our architecture, understanding all domains and their interactions.
* Collaborate: Work effectively in large teams, embedding the right design patterns to facilitate high-volume releases.
* Own: Take responsibility for engineering decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering accountability.
* Manage: Control technical debt while prioritizing testing and security.
* Understand: Deeply grasp technical issues beyond your immediate stack.
* Implement: Apply best practices throughout the software engineering lifecycle.
What You Will Need
* Proficiency in technologies such as C#, .NET Core, .NET 8, SQL, Cosmos DB, and experience with Azure Cloud Environment and Kubernetes.
* In-depth knowledge of industry-standard tools and languages within the RAC technology ecosystem.
* A solid understanding of agile software development methodologies and best practices.
* A passion for automation and the ability to coach your team to reach their highest potential.
* Self-motivated, creative, and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-sensitive problems.
* Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Working Conditions
This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work from home with two days per week in either our Bristol or Bescot office.
