Occupational Health Advisor – Derbyshire – 4 days per week, salary up to £50,000, approximately 4 cases per day.
Amber Mace are working with a client looking for an OH Advisor to join a busy, fast‑paced in‑house Occupational Health service.
This is a hands‑on clinical role where you will be delivering high‑quality occupational health advice, managing a varied caseload, and supporting employees and managers with timely, practical guidance.
You'll be joining a supportive but high‑performing team where no two days are the same, and responsiveness really matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied occupational health caseload (approx. 4 cases per day, flexible)
* Delivering fitness for work assessments and management referrals
* Supporting return‑to‑work and absence management processes
* Providing clear, practical clinical advice to managers and HR
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary OH team
* Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to KPI delivery
* Supporting a proactive, preventative approach to workforce health
About You
* Registered Nurse
* OH qualification ideal (10+ years experience if no qualification)
* Strong case management experience
* Confident delivering clear, evidence‑based OH advice
* Able to manage workload effectively in a busy environment
* Strong communicator with good stakeholder engagement skills
* Comfortable working onsite as part of a team
