Cover Supervisor – What You’ll Be Doing:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects at KS3 and KS4
Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher
Maintain classroom control and positive behaviour
Offer support and guidance to ensure pupils stay on task
Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school leadership
Adapt to different subject areas and year groups as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A degree (any subject) – ideal for graduates considering teacher training
Previous classroom, tutoring or youth work experience (preferred but not essential)
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to build rapport with students and motivate learning
A calm, confident, and professional presence in the classroom
Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
