2025 marks the 10th anniversary since London’s local authorities came together to launch the first dedicated LGPS investment pool, London CIV. With c.£52bn AUM, the 32 boroughs and City of London mandate London CIV to increase efficiency, drive down costs and compound value through scale and a collective strategy approach to investing.
London CIV already meets the standards of the Government’s LGPS ‘Fit for Future’ proposals and is fast evolving. This is an exciting time for the business that is anticipating significantly more Partner Fund assets transitioning into pooling, developing the capability to be the primary source of Partner Fund investment strategy advice, and increased responsibility for its implementation.
London CIV are committed to playing their part in developing a sustainable plan, not just for the London-based local government schemes (LGPS), but for the overall LGPS across England and Wales.
Partner Fund Solutions Manager
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer we are looking for a Partner Fund Solutions Manager to develop trusted working relationships with a portfolio of Partner Funds, supporting them in meeting their pension obligations to their members and communities. This will include providing strategy, policy, investment support and client relationship support, depending on the needs of the Partner Fund.
The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing pension management across London CIV’s Partner Funds.
Extensive Investment Consultancy expertise is important, along with solid experience of Institutional clients, ideally including knowledge of the LGPS and the investment priorities of the sector.
You will demonstrate advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, along with proven ability to develop collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
