About The Role
Paralegal/Litigation Executive – Motor, Birmingham, hybrid. The Motor team is growing and we need experienced Paralegals/Litigation Executives to support our growth journey.
What will you be doing?
You will run a litigated caseload of small claims matters dealing with liability and vehicle damage claims. You will assist other Litigation Executives/Claims Handlers with an average case load of 100 files. Responsibilities include drafting documents, applications, offers, orders and directions, attending telephone conferences, managing cases in line with SLAs, reviewing quantum, valuing general and special damages, formalising case plans, entering into telephone negotiations, liaising with third party solicitors and insurers, and managing both insurer clients and lay clients.
Qualifications
* Experience handling litigated claims, preferably defendant cases.
* Familiarity with the CPR, the SRA Code of Conduct and motor insurance knowledge.
* Enthusiastic, self‑motivated attitude, desire to exceed targets, initiative and creative problem solving.
* Strong work ethic, committed team player and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Progression

Training contracts are offered internally; in 2021/2022 28 training contracts were offered, a proportion of those were within Motor and Casualty.
