Are you a compassionate Occupational Therapist looking for a new opportunity to expand your skills?
Pulse is seeking to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a busy community rapid response team at an NHS client based in Taunton, Somerset.
The role is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time or part-time hours for an initial 5 months period.
The successful Occupational Therapist will be responsible for helping the client maximise function through home visits and making referrals to hospital when needed. You will work within a community setting as part of an MDT team committed to providing high-quality services to all users.
Responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out risk assessments
2. Devising rehabilitation programmes to develop skills
3. Managing equipment to assist with daily living
4. Managing your own caseload
Skills and qualifications required:
1. Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
2. Extensive knowledge of long-term condition management
3. HCPC registration
