Are you a subject matter expert in security looking to make a tangible impact across a national leader? As a Security Investigator for the Travis Perkins Group, you will be the frontline authority on all security-related matters within your region.
Location: Field based role covering Manchester, Merseyside, North Wales, Midlands, Yorkshire

You will be empowered to proactively assess and mitigate risks, developing sophisticated investigation plans and implementing cost-effective solutions to protect our people, our assets, and our brand. Your Impact
1. Strategic Delivery: Support and deliver the Group Security Strategy within your designated area.
2. Risk Mitigation: Conduct physical equipment surveys and identify vulnerabilities through an Enterprise Security Risk Management approach.
3. Expert Investigations: Lead thorough investigations into theft and fraud in accordance with criminal and employment law, ensuring "best evidence" is captured for the Group.
4. Professional Training: Act as a consultant to the business, providing professional training, advice, and support to Branch Managers and Regional Directors.
5. External Liaison: Build and maintain intelligence-sharing networks with external agencies, including the Police, local authorities, and national bodies like the NBCS.

Essential Criteria:
6. Regulatory Knowledge: A strong understanding of policing legislation (PACE, DPA, Theft and Fraud Act) and employment law (ACAS best practice).
7. Investigative Mindset: The ability to work independently, prioritize a complex workload, and write clear, factual security reports.
8. Technical Literacy: Proficient in standard computer applications.
9. Mobility: A valid UK driving licence is required for regional travel.
10. Integrity: Unwavering honesty and personal integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
11. A Diploma in Security & Risk Management or an equivalent professional qualification.
12. Training in WZ Non-Confrontational Interview Techniques.
13. Experience in multi-site Loss Prevention, the Police, or the Merchanting/DIY retail sector.
