Digital Data and Technology Lead

Grade D1 – £42,839 to £47,181 per annum
North Kesteven District Council is seeking an experienced professional to join the Digital Data and Technology Team; this post puts you at the heart of digitized change and data management using cutting‑edge technology to elicit the best customer experience which is critical in the execution and delivery of the Council’s Digital Data and Technology services.
Job Requirements
* Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate) automation experience (cloud flows, approvals, connectors)
* Azure API Management (APIM) knowledge (API lifecycle, policies, products/subscriptions, developer portal)
* Microsoft Power BI knowledge (data modelling, DAX basics, report build and publishing, workspace governance)
* Understanding of integration patterns (REST/JSON, OAuth2, service principals, webhooks) and secure data handling
Key Responsibilities
* Designing, building and supporting Microsoft Power Automate solutions to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort
* Managing and publishing APIs via Azure API Management (APIM), applying policies (security, throttling, transformation), and monitoring usage
* Developing and maintaining Power BI datasets, reports and dashboards, ensuring data quality, performance and appropriate access controls
* Creating and maintaining technical documentation, standards and support runbooks; collaborating with stakeholders to continuously improve services
