About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for large-scale infrastructure projects. You will manage complex procurement packages ranging from £5M to £10M, ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and delivering value for money outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver operational procurement for designated packages, ensuring alignment with governance and assurance processes.
* Develop and manage tender documentation, evaluation processes, and contract award activities.
* Ensure compliance with UK and EU procurement legislation and best practice standards.
* Provide commercial advice and support across the organisation, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
* Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all procurement activities.
Skills & Experience Required
1. Strong analytical and commercial skills with experience in compiling tender and commercial documents.
2. Proven ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders in complex environments.
3. Knowledge of procurement legislation and experience with frameworks and OJEU processes is preferred.
4. Experience in procuring large-scale construction or rail systems projects.
