Randstad is looking for nurturing and dedicated nursery assistants to support early years settings across Scotland. You'll play a key role in helping children feel safe, engaged, and ready to explore the world around them-supporting their emotional, social, and developmental needs in a caring environment.
Earn up to £15.50 per hour PAYE!

As a nursery assistant, you'll be:
* Supporting children individually or in small groups
* Assisting with play-based learning and care routines
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment
* Communicating effectively with early years staff and parents
* Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures
* Bringing energy, kindness, and patience to every day
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience working with young children in education or care
* Flexible and adaptable to different nursery settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* PVG registration (or willingness to apply)
* SVQ Level 3 in Childhood Practice, Social Services (Children and Young People), or equivalent (or working towards it)
* A full driving licence is desirable but not essential
