Event Sales Manager
Surrey | Full-time
£32,000 basic salary + up to £2,000 quarterly incentive

Kalm Kitchen is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Event Sales Manager who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, creative environment. As one of the first touchpoints for new clients, you’ll play a pivotal role in converting enquiries into confirmed events through proactive engagement, relationship building, and beautifully tailored proposals. You’ll guide clients through their sales journey — from initial enquiry to handover — ensuring they feel supported, inspired, and excited every step of the way.
This role blends sales expertise, organisation, communication, and creativity, working closely with our kitchen, operations, and venue teams to bring events to life with precision and imagination.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Lead Conversion
* Respond quickly and warmly to new enquiries
* Convert leads into confirmed bookings through proactive communication
* Build tailored proposals to reflect each client’s vision and budget
* Own all Petite Patisserie sales enquiries
* Maintain accurate bookings and ensure smooth communication with operations & kitchen teams
* Track sales performance and contribute to monthly and quarterly targets
Client Relationship Management
* Build strong, genuine relationships with clients
* Host consultation calls and menu tastings
* Collect event details, menus, and logistics for seamless handover to the production team
* Deliver communication that reflects Kalm Kitchen’s tone, quality, and care
Venue & Partner Liaison
* Develop relationships with our partner venues
* Coordinate tastings, open days, and joint initiatives
* Maintain consistent communication and shared tracking with venue partners
Administrative & Event Support
* Act as the first point of contact for incoming phone enquiries
* Attend selected events as a Kalm Kitchen representative to support client experience

* A natural communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
* Confident in managing multiple projects and deadlines

* Passionate about delivering incredible client experiences
* Comfortable building creative, bespoke proposals
* Competent in using Microsoft 365 (Tripleseat experience a plus)
* A driver with access to transport (rural office location)
