Design Technology Teacher Location: Essex Start Date: 01 September 2026 Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 Are you a creative Design Technology Teacher with a specialism in Product Design, Graphics, Textiles or Food? Do you hold QTS or are you an ECT looking to begin your teaching career within a supportive secondary school? Are you passionate about developing practical skills and inspiring students to explore design, innovation and creativity? Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Essex that is looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential through a broad and engaging curriculum. The school is seeking a permanent Design Technology Teacher from 01 September 2026 on a full-time basis. The successful Design Technology Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, specialising in one or more of the following areas: Product Design, Graphics, Textiles or Food.
