Role Responsibilities
As a CNC Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Setting and operating CNC machinery within the machine shop
Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications
Carrying out machine checks and maintaining production documentation
Inspecting components to ensure quality standards are achieved
Reporting non-conformance issues where required
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Supporting production targets and continuous improvement activities
Working closely with Team Leaders and other departments across production
The Person
The successful CNC Setter/Operator will ideally have:
Strong hands-on CNC machining experience within a manufacturing environment (essential)
Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery (essential)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards work
