Stanwell Road Surgery is a friendly and rapidly growing GP practice in South West London. We are a young, forward-thinking team of five GP Partners caring for over 9,000 patients. We are looking to welcome an experienced Practice Nurse to join our vibrant, supportive team. We are looking for 2 days a week - Wednesday and Friday 8am to 5pm.
Responsibilities
* Managing patients health and carrying out basic observations
* Child and adult immunisations, including baby vaccines
* Cervical smears
* ECGs, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and blood pressure checks
* Wound care, dressings, removal of sutures/clips, and foot checks
* Routine and travel vaccinations, routine injections, contraception, and health screening
* Advising patients on health promotion, diet, lifestyle, and minor ailments
* Supporting chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension)
* Assisting with minor procedures and IUCD/IUS fittings

You will have the opportunity to upskill and further train in spirometry and other innovative procedures we offer at the practice. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective patient care, while also contributing to the development and improvement of our nursing services.

Desirable Experience
