Role Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Certification Change Control Engineer to support the ongoing management of post-certification changes for Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) applications. This role focuses on reviewing calibration, software, and hardware updates after certification and ensuring continued compliance with regulatory standards.
You’ll work closely with engineering teams, programme leads, and compliance stakeholders to assess change impacts, document processes, and lead cross-functional alignment. Your work will help maintain certification integrity across EDU, battery, and inverter systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a BEV Certification Change Control Engineer, you will:
1. Review post-certification calibration, software, and hardware changes for compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Assess change impacts across range, charging, power, EMC, and Reg 100 certification domains.
3. Prepare quarterly review packs for presentation to type approval agencies.
4. Communicate the post-certification change process across the organisation.
5. Lead teams through the change control workflow and ensure timely documentation.
6. Maintain traceability and audit readiness for all certification-related updates.
