We have an exciting opportunity for a Clerical Officer / Receptionist to join our dedicated team within Business Services. This is a part time temporary role (30 hrs for 18 months) based at CYPS Ferryhill, Broom Road, Ferryhill. WHAT IS INVOLVED? A vacancy has arisen in Business Services for a part time Clerical Officer/Receptionist to provide a professional, effective and efficient receptionist service and general administrative support to visitors, callers, users and members of one point, and families first services. Duties include reception duties, dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone answering and message taking, ordering, data entry, file management, including scanning and archiving, typing duties, including production of posters and display materials, arranging transport, issuing and recording of petty cash transactions, booking rooms and diary management. We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer service. WHAT WILL I NEED? 4 GCSEs (Graded A-C) including English Language or Literature or NVQ Level 2 in a related subject or equivalent. Please refer to the attached Person Specification for the full criteria. If successful, you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure. INTERVIEWS Interviews will be held week commencing 8th December 2025.
