We’re working with a well established not for profit organisation within the not for profit sector who are looking to appoint an HR Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a varied, people facing role providing high quality HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll act as a first point of contact for managers and staff, handling employee relations matters, supporting policy application, and ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently and in line with best practice and employment law.
It’s a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys advisory work, stakeholder engagement, and working in a complex, values led organisation.
💥 As a HR Advisor, you will:
* Provide front-line HR advice and guidance to managers and staff across a wide range of people matters
* Support and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters
* Apply, interpret and support the development of HR policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems in line with GDPR requirements
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including trade unions where appropriate
* Support payroll-related processes and contractual changes
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services, processes and ways of working
* Act as a trusted, solution-focused partner to the wider organisation
💥 What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience working in a busy HR advisor role
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment law
* Experience handling employee relations cases end to end (Desirable)
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator, able to advise managers at different levels
* Comfortable working with HR systems and digital tools
* A collaborative, proactive and customer focused approach
