The post holder will be registered with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for CPD and carry out the requirements of the College. The Trust will fund the post holder’s CPD to an agreed allowance in line with the Trust policy. The successful applicant will be expected participate in research and to contribute to the Research & Development programme in London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. It is anticipated that links with Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital will strengthen. There is an opportunity to work closely with the well renowned QCCH.

Education & Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. MRCOG or equivalent
2. CCT/CESR or within 6 months of obtaining
3. BSCCP
4. Full GMC registered Medical Practitioner
Desirable criteria
5. Another higher qualification e.g. MD, PhD, MRCS or equivalent
6. Gynaecology oncology ATSM
7. ATSM in Labour Ward
8. ATSM in Benign Gynaecology
9. Qualification in Medical education
Knowledge & Experience
Essential criteria
10. Competence in education and training of specialist registrars
11. National guidelines for Maternity services
12. Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and junior medical staff
13. Evidence of audit preparation undertaking and presentation
14. Interest in Participating in research
15. Understanding or research and critical appraisal
Desirable criteria
16. Knowledge of SBL care bundle
17. Organisational experience
18. Ability to implement and develop research projects
19. Evidence of having carried out research and submitted for publication
