Job Description:
This role involves working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Coverage area: Postcode areas M, OL, SK, HX, BD, HG, LS.
Purpose of the role:
You will develop and grow the Unilever Ice Cream range in the Out of Home channel with existing and prospective high-value customers.
The primary focus is to territory manage approximately 250-300 independent leisure accounts, while prospecting for new high-profile accounts.
You will define "where to play" and "how to win" strategies to unlock sustainable and profitable growth, using data-driven decision making.
You will own and shape your territory strategy, supported by your regional business development manager, to achieve sales growth targets.
You will manage relationships with local wholesaler representatives and may oversee a few regional wholesalers.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with relevant departments to improve business plans and share best practices.
* Work with RTM counterparts to achieve common objectives.
* Ensure accurate data capture via Salesforce.
* Deliver all KPIs set for the year.
* Plan effectively to ensure monthly coverage.
* Prospect new high-profile customers within your territory.
* Build strong, sustainable customer relationships.
* Approach tasks with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Develop and execute your territory and channel marketing strategies.
* Manage contractual negotiations within set legal and financial frameworks.
* Complete administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
Skills & Experience:
* Extensive experience in sales, with a track record of growing territories/accounts.
* Ability to develop joint business plans from proposal to approval.
* Experience in building customer relationships.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Customer-focused attitude.
* Resilience and perseverance.
* Strong IT skills, especially in MS Office, and familiarity with sales systems.
