We are currently working with a 1 form entry Primary School in the BS3 area of Bristol who are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their close team.
You will have the opportunity to join a Primary School who aim to create a welcoming, respectful and compassionate learning community. This is an inclusive school where children from all backgrounds join together and explore their community and learning.
The Role
You will be joining the KS2 teaching team on a Full-Time basis covering MAT Leave.
As the Class Teacher, you will be expected to deliver a challenging and engaging curriculum to inspire and motivate children to be curious about their own learning.
The Head Teacher is looking for a confident professional with great knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, someone who is able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families to provide the best learning experience for the children.
You will be expected to:
* Be creative and bring your initiative to the classroom.
* Ability to assess childrens knowledge and development.
* Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
* Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
* Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
* Work closely with the Class Teaching Assistant to provide 1 to 1 support to individual pupils.
