About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your main responsibility will be maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be evident in the environment you maintain. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and the ability to get along with people. Strong communication skills, including listening and giving instructions, are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their roles and pursue additional training as needed. You should feel confident in seeking advice and reporting concerns, including escalation if necessary.
