As a Health & Safety Manager, you will lead the site on all aspects of Health & Safety and report to a Head of Safety overseeing all European sites. Your responsibilities include:
1. Building strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce by offering guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on health and safety matters.
2. Embedding a world-class safety culture across the site.
3. Providing independent and expert advice to the site management team with professionalism and integrity.
4. Developing positive relationships with trade union representatives and ensuring regular safety meetings.
5. Leading the site Health and Safety Committee to promote effective communication and shared understanding of roles.
6. Collaborating with the wider health and safety team and senior leadership to ensure a consistent approach.
7. Liaising with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, safety auditors, and insurers to ensure compliance and continuous safety improvements.
