The Role This is a senior, hands‑on clinical role with a strong focus on mentoring and support. You’ll have a varied small animal caseload while playing an important role in supporting junior vets and recent graduates as they build confidence and develop their skills. Mentoring here is part of everyday practice. We protect time for it and take it seriously. We have dedicated case discussions every two weeks and plenty of informal opportunities to talk cases, ask questions and learn together. We really believe in giving back and supporting all vets, whatever stage they’re at. We’re keen to work together as a team, learn from each other and share experience openly. Everyone has a voice here, and ideas don’t just get heard, they get tried. There’s no pressure to step away from clinical work or into heavy management. This role is about being a supportive presence, leading by example and helping create an environment where people feel comfortable asking for help.
