Your Role
As a Strategic Buyer, you will:
* Forge strong, customer-focused relationships by providing high-quality technical advice and innovative procurement solutions.
* Develop bespoke commercial proposals and manage consultancy engagements from start to finish.
* Play a pivotal role in positioning our client as the procurement partner of choice for valued social housing clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to ensure consistent delivery of high-value services.
* Take ownership of your projects, including P&L responsibility, ensuring outstanding outcomes for clients and the business.
About You
You are:
* A tenacious and driven procurement expert with a proven track record of success.
* A confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.
* Analytical, organised, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple clients, stakeholders, and projects effectively.
* Experienced in procurement, with substantial knowledge of PA2023 Procurement regulations, contract management, and high-stakes negotiations.
* Qualified to CIPS Level 4 or holding a relevant degree (or equivalent sector experience).
