Overview
You will be responsible for managing ER administration and supporting the ER Advisors with cases in Retail, Beauty Services and Healthcare. Working as part of the ER team you’ll provide support to ensure absence, disciplinary, performance and grievance matters are dealt with in a timely and proactive manner. You’ll support the ER team with administration and reporting, collating information to support identifying training needs, key trends, and developing the right support materials to prevent issues from re-occurring. You’ll ensure all case administration meets high standards for any future conciliation or tribunal. You will support the ER team with development of Policies and Procedures, ensuring administration, collation and communication is effective. You’ll share and seek best practice within the ER team and feed back into the Employee Relations Manager. You’ll proactively feed themes or areas identified through case work to the ER Manager and keep up to date with current employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support ER advisors and Managers to resolve employee relations enquiries
* Build strong relationships within the ER team and wider People teams
* Coordinate the tracking of cases and work with the team apprentice to ensure efficient case management administration
* Analyse data and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities and best practice
* Provide regular updates to the ER Manager and wider business on information collated
* Support projects in ER, Retail and Healthcare including wellbeing initiatives and coordinate related administrative duties
* Coordinate the process, scanning and storage of management files with the team apprentice
* Maintain accurate records with support from the team Apprentice to keep case files up to standard
Key Health and Safety Responsibilities

* Do not misuse equipment provided for safety purposes
* Follow instructions on health and safety matters and attend relevant training
* Report hazards and defects observed in the workplace

Person Specification / Qualifications

Hours
37.5 hours per week | 9.00am – 5.30pm. Hybrid working available depending on role responsibilities with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office near East Croydon Station.
