Job Title: Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools
Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne
Salary: £100–£130 per day (paid weekly via PAYE)
Contract Type: Flexible and Full-Time Available
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner!)

We’re looking for confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Newcastle. Whether you’ve worked in education before, or you’re switching from a youth work or coaching background, this role is perfect if you can command a room, keep learning on track, and stay calm under pressure.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects
Managing behaviour and keeping students focused
Supporting learners with classwork and routines
Acting as a familiar face across local schools
You’ll be great if you:
Have experience working with young people (schools, coaching, mentoring, youth work etc.)
Feel confident leading a class and managing behaviour
Can adapt quickly to new environments and challenges
Have a proactive, professional, and approachable manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
