Placement Student - Quality Improvements Analyst
Join Cummins Europe as a Quality Improvements Analyst placement student in the Logistics team at Daventry. This placement will start in Summer 2026 and run for 12 months, providing you with hands‑on experience in a global enterprise.

Responsibilities
* Support the Quality Management System (QMS) through data collection, reporting, and documentation updates.
* Assist in conducting process reviews, audits, and root cause analyses for non-conformances or issues.
* Gather and analyze performance and quality data (e.g., defect rates, rework, complaints) to identify trends.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects aligned with Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence.
* Help prepare presentations and reports for management reviews or project updates; collaborate with cross‑functional teams (production, engineering, supply chain, etc.) to implement improvements.
* Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of ISO 9001 standards (or other regulatory requirements).
Qualifications
* Working toward a degree in Engineering, Quality, Business, Data Analysis, Supply Chain/Logistics, Planning or Statistics related fields; proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or similar).
* Great communication, presentation, project management, report writing and documentation skills.
* Strengthening problem‑solving and critical thinking by working on real‑life processes; gain awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
* Develop a mindset for continuous improvement and professional growth.
