Procurement Manager (CAPEX) - Leading High Growth FMCG Organisation
Location: Home-Based (with regular site travel)

A prominent consumer goods company is launching a significant capital transformation programme and seeks a high-impact Procurement Manager to lead this initiative.
This role will oversee all Capex procurement activities across multiple UK manufacturing sites. It offers a unique opportunity to shape sourcing strategies for complex, high-value projects, including equipment, civil works, and support services. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to enhance procurement capabilities, deliver value, and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead sourcing and procurement for capital projects: machinery, engineering services, civil works
* Manage end-to-end project delivery across UK sites
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with capital investment goals
* Support procurement governance, controls, and efficiency improvements
* Create tools, frameworks, and supplier strategies to optimize spend
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build relationships across engineering, operations, finance, and leadership
* Foster cross-functional collaboration and influence decision-making
Key Requirements:
* Extensive capital procurement experience in FMCG, food, drink, or pharma
* Proven track record in sourcing equipment, civil works, and technical services (CAPEX)
* Experience with MRO procurement is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and manage change effectively
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple workstreams
* Aspiring to grow into a procurement leadership role
