Due to growth, we're seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fitters to join their workshop team. Within this role you will be based at the Newcastle branch and conduct servicing, overhauling and maintenance to products in line with product standard and client requirements. The role: Conduct strip & assessment, overhaul and repair works on various products to standards. Complete accurate strip assessment and assembly reports. Assembly of new mechanical equipment to engineering drawings and standards. Dynamic balancing of rotating equipment. Alignment of mechanical components and machines Undertake servicing in terms of customer planned maintenance contracts, check equipment, carry out required maintenance and produce a report of work done in order to comply with the Service Level Agreement. Carry out detailed machinery analysis, interpret results and liaise with engineering department on how to most efficiently resolve customer problems. What we’re looking for: Qualified Fitter & Machinist Tradesperson Experience working with rotating assemblies on industrial, mining or power station equipment Competence in overhaul of rotating equipment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience overhauling fans, compressors, turbines favourable Specialized knowledge in rotating machine equipment Competence in balancing small and large rotating assemblies.
