The Role The Reputation Governance Director is a senior leadership position responsible for driving digital quality, compliance, and operational excellence across programmatic, paid search, and paid social activity. You will own the end-to-end governance framework - from quality assurance and compliance reporting to operational processes, training, and market engagement. Working closely with global teams, external partners, and local markets, you will ensure consistent adherence to best practices while protecting brand reputation at scale. A key aspect of the role includes managing third-party verification partnerships, advancing measurement and optimisation capabilities (including Connected TV), and shaping governance processes that are robust, scalable, and future-ready. Key Responsibilities Governance & Quality Leadership Own and evolve the digital governance framework across biddable media channels Oversee quality monitoring, compliance reporting, and escalation processes Define and implement best practices to ensure consistency across markets Operational Excellence & Process Development Develop scalable workflows, processes, and documentation to support governance Lead continuous improvement initiatives across digital quality and operations Contribute to broader operational tasks including metrics development and contract updates Partner & Platform Management Manage relationships with third-party verification and media partners Drive adoption of advanced measurement and optimisation solutions Oversee governance across emerging channels including Connected TV Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with activation hubs, data & tech teams, and local market stakeholders Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to standards Communicate complex concepts clearly to senior stakeholders across the business Leadership & Team Development Manage and develop a small team, setting priorities and supporting growth Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement You Strong experience within a media agency or similar environment Extensive background in digital activation, with recent leadership experience Deep understanding of programmatic, paid search, and paid social processes Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas Highly analytical with experience working across complex systems and frameworks Strong organisational skills with a focus on process improvement and scalability Leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams Experience working across global markets; automotive or similar sectors a plus Passion for driving quality, governance, and operational excellence in digital media Sphere Digital Recruitment currently have a variety of job opportunities across digital so feel free to get in touch with us to find out how we can help you.
