We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Mansfield that is looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to join their team in September. This is a full-time, ongoing position, ideal for someone with a background in youth work, SEN support, or behavioural intervention. Key Responsibilities: Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to manage behaviour and re-engage with learning Work closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and pastoral team to implement tailored support strategies Build positive relationships with students, acting as a role model and mentor Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour both inside and outside the classroom Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs Strong interpersonal and communication skills A calm, patient, and resilient approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) This is a rewarding role for someone looking to make a genuine impact in a school setting.
