Base pay range
Purpose of role
To ensure customers receive excellent quality care and support to keep them safe and comfortable in their own homes. A supportive and calm manner, together with excellent organisational and communication skills, are vital for this important role in our company.
Key responsibilities
1. Make sure care assistants are appropriately allocated to customers so that care is delivered on time, safely, and in line with customers' wishes (as per their care and support plan).
2. Liaise with the registered manager to recruit suitable care assistants and arrange cover for sickness, absenteeism, or holidays.
3. Accept, allocate, and process new referrals promptly.
4. Process changes to customers' care and support plans.
5. Prepare staff rotas in advance and distribute to customers and care staff.
6. Ensure sufficient coverage for timely care delivery.
7. Monitor care assistant allocation to maximize efficiency and support work/life balance.
8. Use IT systems for care assistant allocation.
9. Match care assistants to customers considering skills, experience, preferences, and logistics.
10. Distribute weekly staff rotas.
11. Participate in the out-of-hours emergency on-call rota after full training and assessment.
12. Maintain up-to-date records and monitor mileage and incidents.
13. Keep customer and family information confidential.
14. Perform general office duties and prepare reports.
15. Communicate effectively with customers and representatives, considering communication needs.
16. Collaborate with health and social care professionals to improve service quality.
17. Work flexibly as part of the team, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Your Experience and Suitability
You must have:
* At least 2 years of experience as a Care Coordinator or similar role
* Good understanding of IT systems
* Full UK driving license and access to a car
* Right to work in the UK
* Excellent English language skills
