Salary: £25,200
Due to growth, my client is seeking a motivated Sales Coordinator to join the team to assist with the generation of sales by dealing with existing trade and retail customers, handling new customer enquiries, and developing new business.
Job Duties:
1. Answer incoming telephone calls from customers to sell products and services.
2. Account Management – Regular contact with agreed accounts to build relationships, increase order levels, and introduce new products and services.
3. Handle online enquiries via web chat system.
4. Make outbound ‘cold’ calls to prospective clients based on targeted industry sectors.
5. Achieve team sales targets.
6. Process customer requests including quotes, proformas, orders, and product enquiries.
7. Liaise with clients throughout the order process from placement to dispatch.
8. Attend trade shows and fairs, representing the brand as needed.
9. Maintain high accuracy in all internal paperwork.
10. Liaise with suppliers, negotiate prices, minimum order quantities, and lead times, and issue purchase orders.
11. Maintain a high standard of product knowledge.
12. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth order processing.
