Lead Paralegal – Motor Credit Hire
We are the Motor Credit Hire team at DWF in Liverpool, and we are looking for a skilled Lead Paralegal to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a collaborative environment, working on a varied caseload for high‑profile clients.
The role is hybrid with office attendance required 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
* You will be assisting fee earners and our qualified individuals with a caseload of Credit Hire claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling.
* Conducting legal research and drafting documents, including defences, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Liaising with clients, insurers, and third parties to ensure effective communication and case progression.
* Providing support to senior fee earners and contributing to team targets.
* Ensuring compliance with DWF’s standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications
* Proven experience handling and or assisting on a caseload including Credit Hire or Motor claims.
* Strong litigation knowledge and confidence dealing with Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to support on a varied caseload.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
* A proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
