Job Title: Electronic Production Engineer

As an Electronic Production Engineer, you will work to enhance the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of manufacturing processes. You’ll also collaborate with Engineering Development teams to ensure a seamless transition of new products from design through to production.
About the Role
* Work with Design and Development teams to identify and recommend enhancements to both products and production processes.
* Partner with R&D and Production teams to support the introduction of new products from initial concept through to manufacture.
* Diagnose and resolve production issues to reduce downtime and uphold product quality standards.
* Develop proposals and specifications for new production equipment.
* Coordinate with external suppliers and manufacturers of assembly equipment.
* Prepare assembly control plans, work instructions, SOPs, and other process-related technical documentation.
* Highlight opportunities for automation and assist in implementing new technologies into production workflows.
* Maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What we Need from You
* Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or HND via apprenticeship in Electromechanical products (relevant experience will also be considered).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing electro-mechanical assemblies.
* Knowledge and application of problem-solving techniques such as 5Why, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis, with a focus on implementing systemic corrective actions.
* Experience with PLM and CAD software (e.g. Siemens NX/Team Centre) and manufacturing systems.
* Proficient with sensor electronics, physics, and assembly automation.
* Analytical, creative, and practical approach to solving problems, with the ability to propose effective solutions.
