What you will be doing
* Participate in a four‑year programme combining on‑the‑job learning at client locations with academic study in electrical and mechanical engineering maintenance.
* Attend college to complete a Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeship framework and achieve NVQ qualifications.
* Achieve professional Engineering Technician (EngTech Level 3) registration upon completion.
* Maintain a logbook recording projects, skills learned and tasks completed.
* Learn and apply health and safety principles in the workplace.
* Use hand tools and workshop machine tools proficiently.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks according to instructions and drawings within the assigned trade.
* Contribute to the business unit through timely task completion and good housekeeping of the workplace and client locations.
Who we are looking for
* On track to or already have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 or above in English and Maths.
* Three years residency in the UK/EU, with evidence of passport, residency or EU settled status.
