An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast-growing UK food & drink manufacturer looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join on a maternity cover contract. The business operates across both B2B and D2C channels and is known for quality, innovation and long-standing partnerships within the foodservice and retail sectors.
With significant growth plans and major brand activity happening next year, plus a move to a brand-new purpose-built head office, this role sits at the heart of an ambitious, creative and fast-paced environment.
The Role
You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of marketing strategy, campaigns and brand activity while managing a talented team of three. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a marketer who enjoys both strategic thinking and practical execution.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, NPD, Supply Chain and Customer Experience, you’ll shape how the brands show up across digital, trade, and customer channels.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
* Leading brand planning, positioning and marketing activity across the portfolio
* Managing and developing a marketing team of three
* Steering agency partners across design, PR, advertising, content and digital
* Supporting NPD and lifecycle marketing through insight-led recommendations
* Ensuring product and brand information is accurate and up to date across all platforms
* Reporting on KPIs and contributing to wider commercial planning
We’re Looking For
* FMCG marketing experience (food & drink ideal)
* Experience managing people and external agencies
* Strong brand marketing capability with proven campaign delivery
* A blend of creativity and commercial thinking
* Digital skills (SEO/SEM, social, ecommerce, Amazon)
* Excellent project management and attention to detail
