Role – Assistant Ecologist — Location: Birmingham — Salary: £DOE
We are looking for an Assistant Ecologist to support the ecology team of a well-known multidisciplinary studio in Birmingham. The successful candidate will assist a variety of fieldwork, data entry, and report drafting. This is a fantastic role for someone early in their career, looking to gain hands-on experience and exposure to various projects.
They are a well-established practice with a relaxed, down-to-earth approach to creating spaces where people and nature feel at home together. They focus on boosting biodiversity, using green infrastructure and water-friendly landscaping to make sure wildlife can thrive even in urban areas. Responsibilities
* Assist a variety of fieldwork
* Support data entry and report drafting
Ideal Requirements
* A degree in Ecology or a closely related subject
* Basic understanding of ecological survey methods and species identification
* Strong organisational skills and willingness to learn
* Report writing and data analysis
* Fieldwork experience (desirable)
