Head Chef – Multi-Outlet Venue Location: Near Bolton Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Benefits Hours: Full-Time ________________________________________ About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations at a prestigious multi-outlet venue near Bolton. This diverse site includes a restaurant, pub, bakehouse, conference facilities, and large-scale events/banqueting, offering an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially astute chef to shape the food offering across multiple concepts. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Menu Development & Cost Control o Create, develop, and implement menus aligned with venue standards and customer expectations. o Ensure costings and GP targets are met while maintaining high quality and fresh food standards. o Freedom to source from preferred suppliers to achieve the best results. • Operational Leadership o Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across all outlets. o Collaborate with senior management on menu planning, event-specific offerings, and kitchen strategy. o Manage stock control and conduct monthly stocktakes. • Team Management & Training o Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen brigade, fostering a positive and professional working environment. o Create staff rotas and oversee recruitment, training, and ongoing development of junior chefs. • Events & Peak Periods o Ensure presence and smooth operation during key events, functions, and peak trading days in this 365-day-a-year operation. • Supplier & Budget Management o Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best value and quality. o Monitor budgets and maintain financial targets in line with the venue’s goals. ________________________________________ About You • Proven experience as a Head Chef in multi-outlet or high-volume fresh food environments. • Strong knowledge of menu creation, costings, and GP management. • Excellent leadership skills with experience in team development and training. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment with multiple service styles. • Flexible and committed to supporting peak trading days and key events. ________________________________________ Benefits • Competitive salary of £50,000 – £60,000 • Benefits package • Opportunity to work with autonomy and creative freedom • Career progression within a growing and ambitious venue ________________________________________ Apply Today Send your CV to Dave Hayes at Dave@perfect-recruitment.co.uk.
