This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work on a £17m new build care home in the North London/Essex area. About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor This is an opportunity to join a main contractor who who have a strong pipeline of work, range of projects and excellent reputation. With projects across London, Hertfordshire and Essex you will be based on site (with the opportunity to work 1 day per week from home). As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the project from procurement through to final accounting, with the project expected to run for 24 months. You will be on site managing the full up and downstream process and full client side responsibility with support from an overseeing manager. Requirements for Project Quantity Surveyor: The company are looking for a candidate who is dynamic and enthusiastic with strong negotiation and communication skills. Someone who is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing the upstream and full commercial process. Degree in a construction related subject Ability to manage client side and subcontractor relationships Willingness to learn new skills as required and support implementation of processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Live within commutable distance to North London The company: The company have been established for 25 years and have offices in London and Essex.
